About OTHM

OTHM is a UK based awarding body that has a global network of delivery centres to deliver qualifications in several areas of study relevant for modern day learning. Since its establishment in 2003, it has created a pathway for tens of thousands of students to gain entry into recognized degree and Masters top-up programmes in the UK. It has university partners and approved centres to offer programmes from Foundational to Undergraduate to Postgraduate through either online or in-person study modes. OTHM is regulated and approved by Ofqual (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation), a recognised Awarding Body by Qualifications Wales, a full member of the Federation of Awarding Bodies (FAB) and its WES approved.

Overview of the
OTHM – Diploma In Education And Training Management (Level 4 & 5)

This programme is delivered in blended mode in both online & physical.
Level 4 & 5 programmes cover the content of 1st & 2nd year of an undergraduate degree providing students with 240 credits on completion which will allow a student to go on to the final year of an undergraduate degree with one of our partner universities abroad or locally at AII.
Short 30 to 40 hour interactive learning modules set against RQF (Regulated Qualifications Framework) learning outcomes.
Additional resources to aid learning are also available, such as e-books, webinars and 1 to 1 dedicated tutor support. This is all free of charge as part of your programme.
All the level 4 & 5 awards are approved by OFQUAL providing the pathway to various UK & international universities to further final year or masters qualifications.

Program Structure

Study Hours

12 modules each requiring an average of 40 hours of study per module. It is flexible, so you study the course at your own pace. You will be required to write assignments for 17 modules with a word count of around 5,000 – 8,000 words per assignment, to complete the qualification.

Admission Criteria

• A-Level 3 ‘S’ passes and ‘C’ pass for O-Level English
